Nurse Practitioners of North Shore Oncology

Nurse practitioners (NPs) are nurses with a master’s degree who work closely with your physician to manage your health care. NPs have the education and expertise to perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medication.

At North Shore Oncology, our NPs provide follow up care, patient education and counseling, and symptom management under the direction of the physician. While they do not replace your personal physician, they are here to expedite and assist with the management of your care and treatment. Our nurse practitioners are:

Jill Behm, N.P.

Jill Behm MS, RN is a certified nurse practitioner who completed her Master’s degree at the University of Michigan. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and holds additional certification as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner. She also has experience in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Urology.

Jill is a member of the Oncology Nurse’s Society.



Jennifer Giarratana, N.P.

Jennifer Giarratana, APN, NP-C, AOCNP is a certified nurse practitioner who completed her Master's degree in nursing at University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult Health and Advanced Oncology.
