Michael K. Cochran, M.D.
Dr. Cochran completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University and his medical degree at Rush University College of Medicine. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine were completed at Evanston Hospital, including an additional year as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Cochran completed his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Michigan. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Cochran is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Breast Disease. He is the Director of Medical Oncology at Advocate Condell Medical Center. Dr. Cochran is also a board member of CHOMS (Community Hematology Oncology Management Services).
Dr. Cochran's practice philosophy stresses patient education and participation in all treatment decisions.
In his free time, Dr. Cochran enjoys kayaking and outdoor activities. He is married, has two children, two step-children, and two Irish Water Spaniels.
